Need : IT Director Vendor Management
Location : Omaha, NE - Remote with some Travel
Duration : Full Time
Should be comfortable in Travelling to client location Omaha, NE - Once or Twice in a month. Travel we will be taking care.
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for establishing and operationalizing processes and associated metrics critical for efficient management of strategic IT partnerships and IT managed services with a focus on targeting and creating measurable labor efficiencies in value and cost, and increased service quality. Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE
IT domain experience, particularly in the areas of IT service management and SLA's.
Experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, partnership management, and managed services and third-party service SLA's, IT labor supply and demand and cost forecasting.
Vendor management, building and managing vendor catalog, vendor service management metrics and benchmarks and vendor score cards, vendor RFI and RFP planning and assessment, 3rd party managed service evaluation, negotiations, implementation, planning, management, financial planning and forecasting of vendor managed services budgets
Strong working knowledge in the following core areas: IT Operations and Service Management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serving as a managed service, and vendor/vendor service subject matter expert for the company, this role leads the execution of the strategic partnership strategy and plan, establishes, operationalizes and continuously improves the foundational processes key for efficient management of partner managed services to maximize cost efficiency, transparency and quality.
Collects, communicates, and consolidates key performance indicators and service level objectives/agreements for targeted improvement using trending and benchmarking to provide insights into health, efficiency and quality of strategic partner relationships and partner managed services. Foster analytics-driven decisions based on this data.
In alignment with Strategic Sourcing, creates, maintains, and publishes vendor score card and takes action items on those score cards as appropriate to ensure cadence of partner service levels, productivity and quality.
Understands IT vendor spending by category, cost center and vendor and manages capacity changes as a critical input to IT financial management and annual portfolio planning process as well as resource capacity planning.
