Job Description

Core responsibilities:
• Contribute deep technical expertise to the architecture and design of SaaS products built on the Azure suite of Data Analytics capabilities by actively participating with product development teams. Serve as the ?????go-to????? expert on Azure Data Analytics offerings for the IQVIA product development organization.
• Define and drive the adoption of principles, frameworks, product reference architectures, and methodologies for use across key SaaS technology products and platforms.
• Govern value-based prioritization of product and platform roadmaps working with product managers and development leaders in all business units.
• Facilitate cross-product initiatives designed to unite and harmonize technology strategies across business lines and support the development of SaaS products.
• Lead technical and architectural evaluations of existing solutions, form recommendations, and summarize findings at the executive level.
• Identify and work with partner companies and third-party developers to facilitate development and use of the strategic platforms and products.
• Create and deliver presentations to senior leadership in support of technology strategy, investments, and initiatives.

Required Experience
• 5 years' experience in data analytics architecture and platform development
• Experience developing solutions on key data management and analytics platforms and tools, including Azure Databricks (Apache Spark), Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Stream Analytics, etc.
• Experience developing data transformation pipelines with tools like R, Python or C#
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence product teams that are not in a direct reporting relationship
• Strong track record of successfully architecting high-growth technology products
• Experience with relevant platforms such as big data, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, enterprise systems integration, hybrid and multi-cloud
• Experience designing and developing Software as a Service and Platform as a Service solutions
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to help in his/her interaction with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from developers to executives. Has developed very good facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, and/or healthcare industries
• Experience with key CI/CD solutions like Azure DevOps Pipelines or Jenkins

Education Required
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or a related business degree. MS in computer science or engineering preferred
